Job Description
Tasks
- Assist in environmental audits
- Conduct environmental audits
- Conduct or direct surveys or survey programs
- Design measures to minimize undesirable environmental effects of mining and oil and gas operations
- Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems
- Prepare rock, mineral or metal samples
- Assist in preparing rock, mineral or metal samples
- Perform physical and chemical laboratory tests
- Assist in hydrogeological field and laboratory studies
- Perform data entry
- Assist in conducting field research and surveys to collect data and samples
- Monitor air, water and soil quality
- Conduct or assist in environmental monitoring and protection activities
