Job Description

Tasks

  • Assist in environmental audits
  • Conduct environmental audits
  • Conduct or direct surveys or survey programs
  • Design measures to minimize undesirable environmental effects of mining and oil and gas operations
  • Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems
  • Prepare rock, mineral or metal samples
  • Assist in preparing rock, mineral or metal samples
  • Perform physical and chemical laboratory tests
  • Assist in hydrogeological field and laboratory studies
  • Perform data entry
  • Assist in conducting field research and surveys to collect data and samples
  • Monitor air, water and soil quality
  • Conduct or assist in environmental monitoring and protection activities
  • Conduct or assist in air and water quality testing
  • Assist with record management
