Seeking a live-in personal support worker in Gwillimbury to take care of our brother, a down-syndrome patient. The caregiver should be a kind, caring, thoughtful and reliable person who could help our brother in his routine life activities.

Job responsibilities
Supervise and care for a down syndrome patient
Taking care of various aspects of personal hygiene, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, applying lotion, diaper change, nail cutting.
Provide assistance with daily routine activities
Administer medication as instructed
Provide companionship
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Prepare and serve meals and snacks
Light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, cooking and grocery shopping.
Occasionally accompany kids for errands and play time
Qualification/ skills required
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
CPR/ first aid certificate
Completion of a personal support worker training program
Should have good English communication skills
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
